@npub1wst…ez75 the on thing i cant stand apple’s methodology. I use to be a long time jailbreaker for about a decade. I saw how the jailbreak scene has gone drastically down as new features kept being addrd on thanks to the ideas of the jailbreak scene. But my main gripe and why i still think jailbreaks are necessary for me is havinng root access the file system like any computer, and the ability to customize/tweak your os. The apple methodology just pisses me off on this

@npub1j0k…3xd7 i only use linux, so Im down at the bottom, almost. I still use macos for basic web viewing content, oinly because its on a beast of a laptop that works well on a laptop and always in my bed. I have a windows system used only to hack into it

@npub1wst…ez75 it seems by the time wayland reaches that threshold of compatibility with most applications/software that utilizes the graphical interface, it will rearch the same cluncky and possibly even same parameters that X has, an interesting dynamic of coming full circle

@npub1wst…ez75 @npub1su4…a0dw anyways thats the reason why having a nice homelab is great. Yunohost is pretty awesome and I use truenass to simply sync files across the network locally for different systems and since i use mainly linux, and some mac, and a windows pc for testing, i need file system interoperability across the whole shabanggg #/ lol
