There's an exchange in this that makes me incredibly angry. And it's this:

What did that pig think he was protecting? Was Nestlé going to use the bottled water from the busted tanker to sell in the supermarkets? When? How long would that take? Fucking cops, man. Just the most unreasonable, ridiculous authoritarians imaginable.

The two leaders and representatives of the entire Republican party are publicly saying that immigrants are "attacking villages and cities in the Midwest," "rap[ing] and sodomiz[ing] and murder[ing] young American girls," and that because of Haitians, murders are "up by 81%." The fact that none of this true is irrelevant to the fundamental goal of the entire modern Republican Party - fostering white nationalism.

Whenever people ask "why can't Black people in America create vibrant commuities?" the answer is: they did. Multiple times. Those communities were just systematically wiped out by white supremacists. In the late 19th - early 20th century by racist mobs with the support of the Democrats. In the post-WWII era by racist urban planners with the support of the Republicans.

The Dems are almost certainly not going to take a progressive stance on Gaza. But voting Dem is still going to be a vote to save lives. The lives of Black people that will be killed if Trump rolls back the few steps towards police accountability. The lives of women that will be lost when medical complexities in pregnancy are untreated. The lives of undocumented migrants and asylum seekers that will be returned to areas of unimaginable violence. The lives of women and girls overseas when maternal health aid is cut. The Democrats will not save everyone. But unfettered Republican rule will mean more people will die than need to.

Seriously - do people not understand that there is literally a global network of people supporting the far-right fascist regime in Israel? Christians United for Israel is in the US. AIPAC is in the US. Germany and the UK explicitly rejected the ICJ genocide against Israel. Not to mention the billions of dollars in military aid from the EU and US to Israel.
Last I checked, the US, UK, and EU are 1) NOT IN ISRAEL; 2) IN OTHER PARTS OF THE GLOBE.
So, explain to me how it's "anti-semitic" to say there is a global network supporting the far-right occupation movement in Israel and not, you know, an accurate description of reality? Is there another word to use to describe a bunch of people around the globe??? What am I missing here? I'm so sick of this shit.
