Weil es die Handy Nummer zur Authentifizierung benutzt. Das hat den Siegeszug vom WhatsApp eingeleitet, weil dem Durchschnittsbürger das Konzept von User und Passwort schon viel zu hoch ist. Deshalb wird auch Bitcoin Custodial Lösungen wie Wallet of Satoshi brauchen.

Also ich bin mittlerweile sehr zufrieden mit Iris. Auch mobil läuft es super über Kiwi Browser in Verbindung mit Alby. Nur immer schauen, dass man Alby entsperrt hat. Das mit Entsperrung anfragen scheint nicht immer zu funktionieren.

current? Ist das auch ein Frontend? Prinzipiell kannst du mit deinem private Key jeden Client verwenden. Man sollte sich nur Gedanken darüber machen, wo der gespeichert wird. Alby Browser Extension ist zum Beispiel eine gute Lösung für Web Clients.

Bitcoin is a settlement layer for transactions. To the core transactions are data. Bitcoin was not designed to prefer special forms of transactions / data because it is designed permissionless. So any data which is worth the transaction fee will be settled. For an opinion to make sense one would have to assume centralization.

Your account is your priv key, so you can choose clients without barrier and within clients you can switch channels as you want. Clients can be built easily because protocol is kept simple. This is central for anti censorship design.
