I love the card game Phase 10, but am disappointed to find that the official mobile app is completely encumbered with mandatory ads, endless moneymaking gimmicks, and unrelated sub-games. Mobile gaming is such a capitalist cesspool. Makes me want to implement Phase 10 myself, even if only for my own enjoyment 🤔

Oh my gosh, I tried moving *one* iOS 18 Control Center item near the bottom of the screen and nearly every other control — even ones near the top of the screen — got all jumbled around. Fixing this is an exercise in frustration. I can’t believe this shipped. Otherwise, though, the new releases seem pretty good so far…

Increasingly frustrated with Apple Music app and the mix of Apple Music/my uploaded music, their streams versus my library, confusing search, etc. I would like an app that's as streamlined as iTunes 1.0 was — just a list of media on disk, and I'll manage the files. The data set changes infrequently enough that I'm OK with that.

Sometimes I watch old Apple keynotes and marvel at Steve’s masterful presentations. I know it was the result of countless hours of prep and rehearsal, but the skill on display continues to put other speakers to shame, making Steve’s performance seem light, effortless, and inevitable. Like, of course this product works that way, and of course this rationale is so logical. It’s an achievement that I think remains unmatched to this day, and I miss it.
