In your original question, I commented how I originally found detached HEAD as confusing, which someone then followed up in splaining it to me, even though I now know what it means. That is one thing I have noticed here is that people like to do that, which if solicited is helpful.
Thank you for all you do and for calling this out! I find your work invaluable to share with students and appreciate you doing what you do!

My wife has been pretty active in filling our yard with native plants and pollinators and she was able to catch this amazing video of a monarch in the garden. Hope this brings a smile to someone this weekend! 😀

With Google Domains being sold to SquareSpace, I'm curious if people in the #fediverse have a strong recommendation for an alternate registrar to transfer a domain to?

I voted today in #Ohio's special election on #issue1, which wasn't supposed to happen anymore in August, but yet here we are.
It was an easy vote: Do you want to give more power to the politician (Yes on issue 1) or to the people (No on issue 1)?
Easy: No on Issue 1

We had our inaugural Internet of Things course where students had the opportunity to present some really neat projects using Raspberry Pis and ESP8266 boards. Projects included a soil sensing system, a smart doorbell camera, a backup camera for a car, and a smart mailbox system. Very cool to see what students created!
