@nprofile…843z is totally right, sadly. For gravity storage of energy, you need a lot of mass (like a dam full of water) and 50 - 100m of elevation change ("pumped hydro")
Some interesting work has been done with high speed flywheels (at 100000s rpms), but I think not for home storage (more for grid-level stabilisation). Also, you really don't want it to break at speed! ;-)

@npub19fc…ay3c @npub1dt0…7205 @npub1e90…rgel Australia's national myths include mateship, immigration, and equality/egalitarianism. In practice, we don't really do/support any of those things, except immigration for westerners. :-(
There's a sizable proportion of Australians who think they're against racism - maybe 75%? Subconscious racism runs fairly deep though
