Not sure I understand the world. Who does anyway? Read this morning, in this article https://www.thepress.co.nz/a/nz-news/350098514/fears-christchurch-will-become-next-auckland-without-better-planning, that a representative from Spokes would not want a rail based mass transit system in Christchurch as the bike tyres of cyclists would get stuck. Surely, there are ways to design a rail system which minimise that particular risk.
