First three top-of-mind thoughts about Apple Intelligence:
• I really wish they would have addressed the environmental story. That would help me personally accept these features more. But I know they can’t… because the story isn’t good.
• I actually think a lot of it looks quite nice, feels Apple-esque, and the UI they’re doing is really cool
• I remain viscerally repulsed by any AI generated art lol (In their Notes demo the sketch looked better!)

Here we go again! Another redesign caught in the wild — that’s #WildRedesign.
I can't figure out why grunge/photocopy effects are making a comeback — what is going on?! Other than that weirdness, the new one (right) seems more balanced and the sun is significantly better. Do you agree?

I just really hope Apple is preparing a metric hectare of reassurances if (big if!) they’re about to announce a deep partnership with OpenAI.
Like, reassurances about the environmental impact (all that work down the drain?), about the training data sources, about general ethics, about the cringy move-fast-and-break-things startup-bro vibes that they will then inherit onto their brand, etc…
