I finally found the perfect-for-me manager. He didn't (and still doesn't) understand why such basic things are so beyond me, but he accepts it - and and knows how awesome I am when I have the support I need.
In my first ~10 years I got promoted once. In my next ~5 years (with this manager) I got promoted 3 times and keep kicking every ass they put in my way. I wish THIS was something every company offered. 🤣

This was an absolute game-changer for me as well. The "trivial" "simple" "easy" work that others might do without a second thought can be so very overwhelming.
I don't actually get an executive assistant, but there is someone i can rely on for scheduling, and OMG what a difference it makes.
