… but the more I empathize with that view, the more I hate myself, because it highlights what a burden I am.
The only thing that makes me worthwhile is my art, so you’re gonna see more of me escaping into it, while I still have a working mind.

My heart and breathing are still going a mile-a-minute.
If I’d lost the use of my legs, would they be saying I just need to get up and walk?
And if I didn’t, too bad, I’ll be left behind?
Sadly, I think the answer is yes!
I think they would have *more patience* with a visible disability, but they’d be looking for a way to wash their hands of me sooner or later.
They resent the inconvenience.
And maybe that’s fair, with American healthcare!
But please don’t take out your anger and frustrations on ME!

My sister sent me into the grocery store by myself. Keep in mind, I am not supposed to be left alone at any time, even at home.
I navigated the store (I have the layout memorized), got my stuff, did self check-out… and then forgot where I was, what I was doing… people were looking at me funny, so I must have been doing something or making some noise… i grabbed my groceries and walked out as quickly as I could (I’d already paid before this episode) and I was in such a panic, I left a whole bag of groceries there. I am beating myself up about it now, especially because that bag had my Sleeptime Extra tea and I really need it right now!!!
When I got out to rhe car, i told my sister that I can’t do that anymore, that SHE can’t do that anymore, I am in cognitive decline and it’s expected to get worse, I can’t be sent out in public alone anymore, and she was just like, “You’ve got to believe in yourself!”

Yesterday I met with my primary dr.
We started with her telling me that the neurologist had asked her to schedule me for official autism and ADHD testing in January or February.
Then she told me that my therapists, who have been visiting me at home, have reported to her that care from my family has been “negligent”. I knew that they thought that, but I didn’t know they were reporting it to anyone. But now it’s in my file, officially.
My dr said she fully supports moving to a group home situation. I didn’t even know she was already in the loop on that. She said, “We’re not saying your sister is a bad person, just that this is more than she can handle.”
I don’t know how I feel about it. It definitely feels like I am betraying her… and she will DEFINITELY take it as a betrayal!

The neurologist wants to book me back into the hospital for a brain scan that would last over a a few days.
I think that’s the next thing that’s going to happen, but I don’t know the details yet.
I know she wants to schedule by the end of November.

I just came from the neurologist. I officially have epilepsy. Apparently, I have been having having mini-seizures for many years, recently had an undetected stroke, and then that triggered the series of full-blown seizures.
So I have to recover, THEN figure out how to live a new life as person with epilepsy.

My body hurts today. It’s been hurting all over, but some days it focuses in one place. Today it hurts to move, so maybe I did too much yesterday.
I feel like I want everything to be different while simultaneously hiding in a ball. I want start over in a fresh housing situation. That msy be pure fantasy; simply putting one foot in front of the other is genuinely ambitious for me right now.

I think i had a more benevolent view of losing control of one’s faculties. 😞

I haven’t tqlkedbto you all day.
That because I’ve been in the hospital.
While Inwas at work, i had a seizure and collapsed. One minute, i was chopping vegetables, and the next thibg i knew, i was lying on the floor with everyone looking down worriedly at me. It was VERY SCARY from e me, ans probably my coworkers as well. They’d already called the paramedics, and I’ve been in hospital most ifcthe day. Everyone has been very kind. I am staying over, at least. I’m having an MRI tomorrow.
