Test run successfully completed!
I moved from a classic multi-component mail server setup (based on #postfix, #dovecot,…) to #Stalwart mailserver - entirely written in Rust and it runs and performs great so far after half an year :)

I currently regret most switching from #snac2 to #Mastodon — fortunately, Snac now supports account migrations, so I’ll be able to switch back soon but it requires migrating me to migrate to another domain, where I then can switch back to this one on snac.

@npub12ty…vnqc yes and no... sounds easy when just seeing this. But content creators who do not participate into "opensource" or free content, will never switch to such a platform. You want to get money out of your content (paid by views, clicks, sponsoring, product placement, ...) - everything you don't have here. So, the mass for the mainstream content remains where the typical content creators are - and that's (luckily) not the Fediverse. It's that easy - it's just about $$$.

Virtualization - How’s it going? My personal and the @npub1zk5…82s9 infrastructure will be shifted. By the end of the year a multi geo located setup (Germany, France, Canada) takes place - running on #XCPng and I’m really excited.
#XCP including #Orchestra perfectly fits my requirements. Not being that nit-picky about latencies also allows me to include nodes located on the other site of the world. @npub1s7p…zefd is doing great with XCP!

:boxybsd: Oh, @npub1zk5…82s9 has a self-service portal now!
I just wrote a ssh alike service where BoxyBSD users can connect to and manage their own #BSD based VMs, hosted on my BoxyBSD platform. You can now also reset you VM or connect to the console.
Currently, I do not have that much time to provide support for my BoxyBSD project and as a result I created this self-service tool. Hope it helps even it's still far from being perfect.

Do you already know #ProxLB for #Proxmox clusters?
ProxLB is fully #opensource and brings some additional features into Proxmox that you might be missing after migrating from #Broadcom #VMware just like #DRS or #StorageDRS. This is where ProxLB jumps in and offers #loadbalancing features - free and opensource under the #GPLv3. ProxLB is packaged, can be installed from a .deb file, repository or run as an orchestrator in a container and fully utilizes the Proxmox API without any ssh access.
