There is much good that can be done with technology. But, absolutely do not trust for-profit companies when it comes to your well being about sensitive issues. My NGO's work here goes back 17 years.

Those folks who do not properly get consent must be legislated - or litigated - out of business.
▪️Support privacy initiatives in your jurisdiction.
▪️Educate friends & family about these bad actors.
▪️Claim a consumer-friendly domicile (e.g. EU-based) if you must use such apps.
⭐ And: not all publishers of free apps do this.
Our NGO @nprofile…v3s3 publishes free prosocial games while respecting the privacy of all users. These bad tech companies harm us through their actions, making it harder for us to do good.

Any suggestions?
I cannot fill in PDFs forms using Ubuntu.
I get an error "... requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher" when using LibreOffice Draw. I've done this before without a problem. Has Adobe updated/broken something?
I need an offline program. The info is private. I cannot use the free online services.
Any help is appreciated.
(Why does the US govt impose Adobe on us without a free tool for editing?)
