interesting! My experience is that the Nintendo fans are the ones that Nintendo seems to hate the most (just look at what they did with the Smash scene, and now with youtubers and streamers).
And had no bad experiences specifically with Nintendo fans defending them - but I guess they are basically like every other group very tied to a thing, when you poke at it they go into defensive mode

I share the same concern - to me right now the saving grace for using Mastodon is relying on @npub1z2p…9wfy as web client.
I'm surprised about Bluesky tho; I've been on it since the very beginning but I find it somewhat dead, and only the same like 10 people are tweeting like crazy over there. Threads is having much more variety and I see a lot of non-tech-people migrating to that.
