I'm Daniel, I've been involved with activism for most of my life, and I have a life-long interest in the intersection of technology and class/privilege.

Parent to four kids, oldest of which is now at University (which is astonishing as I'm still only 25...)

I love reading, and try to post about books I love, which are usually Science Fiction and Fantasy.

it fulfilled all the criteria: end to end, changes in lead, nailbiting moments, and England lose.
There's really no other tournament like it, and now its over and I can go back to ignoring sport again until the Olympics.

while you're absolutely correct, i think in the specific case of Omid that its to do with him being Baháʼí
they're fairly rancid on anything to do with LGBTQ+, despite the religion being officially "neutral" regarding people who aren't of their faith.

this is not a bug.
if you shift-click to open the link in a new tab, it loads up venera just fine.
if you just click the link, it shows that profile within the mastodon.social framework. that's all
