I offered my thumbnail to a lil jumping spider outside on my table. Much to my shock, the lil spider took me up on it and leaped over to me. However, I panicked as I was not expecting the offer to be received well so they safety butt stringed a la Spiderman back to the table. How do I re-friend this spider so we're bros?

I really don't love getting passed on a 25 mph 2 lane road when I'm going about 32 mph on my bicycle. Especially when they continue only going 25 in front of me instead of speeding up. Come on dude. 😑

Today I'm #sewing a tool for my massage therapist for a client of hers! I am so excited to be able to help out!
I wish gifting was more common/accepted. She pretty much insisted on a trade, which I'm not complaining about, but I have a skill that's not super common and I love to share it and help.

I picked up some clear vinyl at a reuse shop to make ID badge windows. Is there a better way to flatten it before #sewing it on? I had the pieces I needed under heavy books, but it didn't do much. I assume it cannot handle an iron.

@npub1fk0…vk62 oh jeez! I couldn't imagine a much heavier outfit. 🥵 I appreciate the suggestion of a long sleeve shirt. My brain said no long sleeves in summer and I took that to heart 😂

@npub1fk0…vk62 the long sleeve has helped a lot! I added a gator mask to the mix and will wear gloves depending on what I'm doing. The more I'm out here, the more I feel like I'm walking around in a full hazmat suit. 😂

I love that Ikea offers spare parts. I lost a screw to my curtain rod, now the whole rod falls down at the gentlest of touches. I tried to find a close match with what we've got at home, but nothing worked with the weird space it's in, but a quick search found their replacement order form and now they're going to send me the exact screws!

A little bit late, but I'm celebrating 100 miles ridden on my bike! I'm getting more comfortable going on my own, my radius of bikeable places is expanding, and I'm choosing to do more errands on it rather than driving. I'm hoping the next 100 miles come even faster than the first. #seabikes
