Help me understand, any downside I'm not considering to buying and importing a vehicle from the US instead of just buying in Canada?
- Manufacturer's Canadian price is much higher than just CAD to USD, so good savings by exchanging to USD manually
- Transport (not that far, fun fall road trip)
- Interest rates high enough that I wouldn't want to finance it anyway
- US-made vehicle, no tariff
- Super close to Canada spec vehicle, very minor certification needed

SwiftUI noob question: I understand why my ViewModel is being initialized twice, but why is it not being *deinitialized*?
It's created, then a second later when appState.show is changed, the view is recomputed, and view, and its ViewModel, are created anew. Cool! But why is the old one not deinitialized? What's holding onto it?

Random question: I take a photo on my iPhone, it looks to be HDR. I want to Photoshop my cat into it, so I AirDrop it to Mac, open in Pixelmator, add cat, export as HEIC, transfer back to iPhone, it looks good (still HDR), but when I try to set that as my wallpaper it changes to having the exposure all blown out
Did I break the metadata somehow? What's the editing flow here?

Basically printers optimize how much material you use/save by how thick the walls of the print are (like how many layers of solid material the walls make up), and by how much infill is in the middle (hollow being 0%, solid being 100%). If you lower these parameters you save material, but decrease strength, so you can increase them a bit for the printed dowel to make it stronger
