The amount of times I've seen my first name misspelled... Shawn, Sean, Shauna, Shane, Sihaun (most recent one I've gotten)
And people from certain linguistic backgrounds have a hard time with the sh sounds.
I don't get annoyed about it as much as I used to.
Though my very French-Canadian last name gets butchered pretty bad by those whose mother tongue isn't French. LOL

The NDP have to tread very carefully. Anything they do that helps, or appears to help, the CPC can potentially sink them. They must be aware of that, I would hope.

Sure, that's entirely possible... but I wouldn't put it past the NDP to vote no-confidence for the slim chance they can shove the Liberals back down to 3rd place or lower. Electoral politics often put power ambitions ahead of what benefits its citizens.
