Day 4 at the hospital.
My wife is showing signs of progress to getting better, it's just frustratingly slow.
She is able to talk some and express some needs but is still foggy on details and easily loses focus.
When we arrived, her kidney function was 6%. The next day was 13%. 3rd day, I don't know, but it was high enough to resart one of her medications to deal with her severe back issues.
I'm hoping today to get more good news from the doctor.

Fast forward to today, and we are still in the hospital. She's having a VERY ROUGH time getting better. I am still waiting to find more information and waiting for her kidneys to function normally. We're hopeful as she didn't get to full shutdown of her kidneys, but this recovery is going much slower than originally thought.
Don't know what tomorrow will bring, but hopefully, it will be better news.

Maybe this story can help someone else not end up where my wife and I are right now.
A while back, my wife's doctor told her about Ozempic. Despite mine and her friend's cautionary advice, she chose to go that route for weight loss.
One of the side effects you can experience as you increase dosages is diarrhea. Over the weekend, this occurred and led to dehydration. Then her kidneys shut down and the medication she has to take for back issues accumulated in her system.

Yea we go to a specific pharmacy for years exclusively. Wife did try to go to Walgreens in Wasilla not too long ago due to the "pill shortage" bs that is really America's failed economy. Anywaysss Walgreens were Royal A-holes to her and I don't think I will ever set foot in one.
