Probably not today, but closer to Aug yes - people getting fomo and sharing stuff, maybe unadvertised events by plebs that might interest you, keeps you in the loop on stuff too. We haven't found a Telegram replacement yet, hopefully SimpleX soon, but it's not there yet

Greeting nostr! This is the account for Lake Satoshi, in Laingsburg Michigan!
We have a 120 acre property that was converted into a lake and campground during the Covid shutdown. Inspired by @nprofile…zx62 and Bitcoin Beach.
We host the monthly Mid-Michigan Bitcoin Meetup, as well as the Lake Satoshi Retreat every August.
We are booting up this account for the upcoming Nostr Bootcamp event at Lake Satoshi.
