@nprofile…gk57 The best practical way I've found to managing my fibromyalgia-ME/CFS is to consider it as an injury in body systems which handle stress (any type-physical, mental, emotional). Decades in, my life is basically structured around managing cortisol levels. I didn't know about heat on the mid back, that was very helpful. Made me too dozy to reply :)

Japanese Film Festival Online 2024 will be 5th-19th June (starts & ends noon JST so effectively the 18th for UK)
Last year's was really good so I'm maybe just a wee bit excited. It's a great opportunity to see Japanese films which can be hard to find.

It's not the highest rated by everyone either.
Any clue? If I wanted to represent my year, I'd pick one, possibly 2 from the six.

Antizionism is denying Jews a state.

Then understand that what's put forward as antizionism has at its roots a very long history of antisemitism. The idea that Jews, of all the peoples in the world, don't get to have a state of their own because of a false ahistorical narrative, is racist.
Whether or not a cease-fire is a good idea is separate. Cease-fires with Hamas always fail because Hamas has no interest in ending hostilities. Cease fires are one of their weapons

They're a brilliant and fantastic, volunteer- and donation-run resource for free e-books, especially older forgotten about works which are hard to find in print.
Can't recommend them highly enough. No e-reader needed, I use my tablet in dark mode. Do check them out.
