Thanks for asking! Note we're not so active on the social media side of nostr.
Building a mobile app for both iOS and Android, geo coordination chat tool. Dropping the web/notes experiment.
Hitchmap.com locations are flowing into nostr (daily cron) so we have some active data to work with.
Moved to a monorepo setup, at https://github.com/Trustroots/nostroots
Hackathon this week. Another one towards the end of November. Should have an alpha version of the app this year.

Note Trustroots circles aren’t on nostr yet, and kinda considering turning them into simple #hashtags.
Great idea though, to build nostr apps (or functionality) for families and local communities. How to get everyone to handle their private key? Or are there alternatives where community leaders can help members with this, @npub1uq7…u0c2 style?

We looked at moving trustroots.org towards federated protocols such as matrix or activitypub. Federation means the user still relies on an individual (or org, which is still one or more individuals) running a server and on domain names.
The lack of well-defined profile portability makes such a migration an almost pointless exercise, taking us from centralized to DINO (decentralized in name only).
