I love movies, language, crafts, photography, history, politics, UK culture, and quirky things. I rediscovered going to the cinema only last year and feel like I have some catching up to do! Luckily I live in London so the cinema theatre world is my oyster. I might have taken out more than one membership...
I also knit, quilt, sew and adore pattern drafting, learn French right now (and will share some phrases I like. #FrenchPhrase), and go to museum and historical sites as much as I can.

So glad you think so! I am really smitten with the content of her talk and the way she dressed. It is so wonderfully individual! Total opposite of cookie cutter anything. Or "invisiwear" as she called it (great concept). She was really funny too, love that.
I want to make myself at least one top in a favourite colour, and build some kind of outfit from there. Show my personality a bit more, let the inside be seen on the outside.

@npub1lkp…u7d2 I like the one on the left (the WS one with the knit stitch showing up), it looks more structural and more... intentional? The RS feels more happenstance, if that word makes sense for knitting.

An interesting article about cleaning that I'd want to apply to decluttering and tidying too.
Love the suggestion of the small space to focus on keeping clean, then build on with other spaces. Not keen on the bullet points per room, that would feel like too much pressure to perform. Maybe once I've had successes over a few months, might be useful to consider then.

HP Printer wants you to do what?? "Rent" your printer? It then automatically orders new ink when it thinks you're close to running out (what could possibly go wrong), and you get an allowance of only 20 pages a month, charging same: B&W/colour.
They've lost their tiny little minds, why would I want to do that? Printers are already riculously expensive to run so when I had to replace my colour HP, I've gone with a B&W Brother printer.
I won't buy HP ever again.

What are your two to three favourite Android apps, and why?
Can be about anything (including websites where the mobile version is easy to use on the phone). I'm curious to see what's out there, what and why you like it. I do like my apps I have to say. Thanks!

What a tale. Why would people get into the business of selling yarn to customers when they don't want to sell yarn to customers? I don't get it.

Just in case of potential confusion, one colour is used for two rows, there and back. Then the other colour for two rows. The pattern is worked by slipping stitches.
