That's cool. My neighbours dog used to bring all his toys around to play with me, one by one. At the end if the day I'd take them back so that he could bring them around again the next day.

There are several techniques, but I'm low tech: I just cut it all down at the end of the season, chop it up and chuck it in a waste bin topped up with water. I keep adding it, scrunch it down then leave it to stew over the winter. In spring I have a stupid amount of plant food.

I will be able to do that too if things get going, I now have so many comfrey plants. TBH I only make the feed because I can, I currently have little use for it, I give it away.

Little to do on the allotment. A bit of tidying up ( a good opportunity to do all those small tasks).
The comfrey tea is steeping, the compost is composting, the leaf litter is rotting down, the weed composter is functioning. Time is doing its work until the warmth returns.
