Are there any non-Polaroid cameras out there that shoot Polaroid film?
I've seen new cameras made by brands of all sizes for Instax film, but nothing that shoots Polaroid.
Does any of this have anything to do with the lawsuit that Polaroid fought against Kodak?

Late, as always. But I still wanted to show you a few photos I took of the aurora when it was happening here in Vancouver some weeks back.
The light pollution was intense so it was very hard to see, but the scans turned out OK.
CineStill 800T pushed +3 stops (EI6400) with Pentax K 1000/Pentax-A 1.7

They have brilliant advice for a very real problem we always experience:

Two new* films are making it to the store shelves this month: Foma Ortho 400 and Shanghai GP3. Edit: Shanghai Shenguang 400.
I'm very curious about the fast orthochromatic film and happy to see that Shanghai is able to produce metal canisters with DX code for their (most likely rebranded) emulsion.

Polaroid has just announced significant improvements to their black and white "600" film frames, which include "softer contrast" (I'm assuming that means wider dynamic range) and improved fine detail.

Honestly, I'm more upset about how they built their website at this point. It looks like seven unpaid interns built it, with twenty managers standing over them changing "AI" for the entire workday. :akko_aaa:

So #UPS wants a payment + brokerage fees for import dues. Fair.
Unfortunately, their website won't take my payment unless I create an account. Sucks, but terrible web service is a corporate standard in 2024 so I proceed.
The website will not create my account. The UI does nothing (not even an error message). The browser console shows an endless stream of errors and messy log messages. The page is 17MB in size.
Had to resolve this via phone call (x4), like it's 1984.
