@npub1se6…cmph one of the nicest things about composting and recycling (both of which are not something my municipality offers assistance with) is seeing the difference in the amount of stuff I'm sending to a landfill.
It's a very big difference, I haven't had a full garbage dumpster in months and months since I started recycling and composting.

I didn't do anything I had intended to today. I did sleep till 1030am though and I was lazy all day, I think I needed it. Highlight of my day was getting a much needed backrub from me 'usband.
Gonna try to be productive but only on easy stuff tomorrow.

@npub147c…27uk now that we own a home and have some room to grow stuff, we are planning on 6 decent sized raised beds for vegetables and berries, and a couple more for flowers and decorative stuff. My current garden/yard fetish is the idea of tearing up all our boring grass and planting a ton of Rockie mountain native wildflowers/plants for the local wildlife. I want bees. I want bat boxes. I love the idea of having garden tomato sauce all year, but having a thriving ecosystem sounds great too.
