@npub1qk5…jlda Check out this video how to make switched (off when you turn the bike off) and fused extra power strands on your bike. Not expensive and much safer and better than wiring the extra stuff in directly.

@npub1wuw…pjs5 Apart from all the other reasons, security is a very important one for me for using Linux. Support doesn't run out because the manufacturer is done with it. It always gets updates, regardless of the age of your hardware.

Pet peeve: why don't #motorcycles come with a standard power plug for additional devices? One in the front, one in the back.
Could be a simple 4 pole plug: ground, switched 12v, 12v 5A, 12V 10A. Cap it off and it would be there when I need it, so easy!

@npub1wuw…pjs5 Looks good, but they have a fairly strict rules that videos need to be about tech, which doesn't quite fit me.
Also, it looks like PeerTube user account migration might get worked on in 2024, so changing instances or backing up your channel is going to be impossible or a challenge. Hmm...
