Sadly it doesn't solve the major problem that is literally driving the climate crisis. Namely, the car and the increasing amount of fossil carbon they are using.
Yes, we need cleaner sources of energy such as solar. But we also have to acknowledge the role of motor vehicles are a major part of the problem. The links between the motor and oil industries are deep. We literally cannot solve the climate crisis until we acknowledge and tackle them.
