It was bipartisanship or some other phony politician bullshit. They had to make sure they enabled each others grifting. I feel like we are starting to get a new crop of politicians. Also Moscow Mitch torched that years ago, but they still clung to it. So glad that Tim Walz torched it along with others in the House who have been pushing this vision for a while.

Yes. Of course, a Supreme Court Justice (any judge) can be arrested, prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced if he or she commits a crime. Being a federal judge in the U.S. does not imbue the person with any special rights, privileges or immunities.
As for what would happen in that scenario, the answer depends on the nature of the crime.

Alito must resign now. Senate Judicial Committee needs to subpoena him immediately. If he doesn't show up, send a referral for prosecution to the DOJ. Enough of this shit.
