I bought a wildflower that is dear to me, and today it flowered.
Heart's Ease (viola tricolor) is a native here. I remember it being all over where I grew up, but have only rarley seen it in the wild since.
Am hoping that, as it is preety good at self-seeding, my garden can be the start of a new wee colony.
