I've encountered a navigation menu pattern and I'm not sure what to recommend. But it kind of gives me the ick. WDYT?
The way it works, is each `<li>` in the navigation has *2* controls:
1. The primary link (to the top level page in a section of the site)
2. AND a button to open/close a submenu of deep links belonging to that page section.
Like..

<ul hidden>...</ul>

Just read on BBC News that the new version of ChatGPT can flirt. Who is that for? Who asked for that? Who's interested in being chatted up by an ephemeral cloud of stolen reddit posts? Told by a soulless megazord of pilfered landing pages that it wants to "smash your back doors in 🥵"?

Does anyone have any experience with SVG filters but applied to `<canvas>`? Before I go down that rabbit hole, does using them with `<canvas>` improve performance at all, or should I expect the same jankiness?

*sigh* I have an American client who is having trouble, they say, being able to convert to £ (their end) for paying me. I have a business bank account for my LTD that only accepts £ or €, apparently.
Anyone know of a way around this? A service either they or I could use? I would *really* prefer not to change bank accounts but will accpt suggestions. Wish I'd known Starling was this limited at the outset.
