On Microsoft edge in both mac and windows, the links tab works great.🍸🐈 Then I thought I would try Brave, had to download new version & it must have JS turned off by default because only the banner header loads all else is blank. @npub1u24…32pl Paul, this is not Vision Pro, but I just signed up for Khan Academy’s KhanAmigoBeta, and it is blowing my mind🍸🙀 it’s like, I ask it to give me an equation for something, like the normal curve, and it does, and then we talk about it for a while, and do some exercises. Knowing your interest in education, keep it in your mind to check this out at some point, if you haven’t already.

@npub1u24…32pl I’ve been asked in 2 job interviews to write code on a whiteboard. The first time I said “oh, I’ve already written that in production”. No offer. The second time I couldn’t remember the code for a recursive function call 🍸🙀so I diagrammed on the board the call stack. 🍸😹 The second company told me I didn’t do a very good job on the interview but I could work for them anyway.
Give it your best shot at the whiteboard even if it’s not recurse(a, b)🍸😺

It raises the friction to change and I used to do it all the time. 🍸😿 Plus if you accidentally change to another face, no biggie?🍸😹 on the other hand side button instead of swipe up is much more clear and fumble free🍸😺

@npub1a4c…t2kf I don’t know what it’s like today, but it used to be that most people in the (very fast growing) industry were self taught. And had a lot of “alone time” to fiddle clever things with their computers. Other trades, you’d have to apprentice and spend time with learning the reasonableness of the trade. That is why that old book, “The Tao of Programming” was so appealing and funny. Reasonableness encountered in an engaging and atypical way🍸😸 I’m thinking of the COBOL in particular🍸🙀

The original keyring has the door key and the car key.
