Agreed! Although #Firefox may be the best we've got for now.
Of course there are #Epiphany, #Konqueror and other FOSS browsers, but I think developing an up-to-date (let alone secure) web browser is a serious effort.
Btw, I do use #Librewolf as my main browser, but if Firefox were to end, I'm not sure they will be able to keep it going by themselves.

Checked out @npub1t9n…k9e7 's #FrameworkLaptop 16 today. I really liked what I saw.
Kudos on the configuration experience! It was already a lot of fun simply selecting my preferred hardware on the website. I like configurability, and definitely recommend it to others.
My current laptop is in excellent shape, so I will not be buying anything yet. The next one may very well be a Framework, though!

@npub1a76…3kkt I have some trouble and annoyance with your email app on Android.
Swiping right in order to un-Archive does not work when in the Archive view (but does work when in Inbox or Trash).
Besides, it is not possible to customize the swipe actions, or even disable them if desired.
The swiping UX could be smoother as well.
Let me know if this is enough info. Should I submit a support request?

I think it's much more effective to give the responsibility of encouraging people to use alt-text to whichever client they use. This is both easier and more respectful to the users.
If someone toots without alt text and everyone complains, they will often respond in a hostile manner or start disliking the fediverse.
Besides, I think many new people simply don't know what it is and why they should consider doing it. Including a simple hint in the client will solve this for everyone.
