There were 2 websites where I was considered a big account. Uptrend, where I was a moderator and Torum where I was ... just my self and my Bio said: "Don't follow me". (Guess what people do, when they read something like that). Anyway I would always repost someone who was posting original and interesting stuff and not just copy pasting links from crypto sites. And those users felt obligated to keep the quality of their content high, knowing that some whales were following them and just with a repost, they could get dozens of followers and hundreds of reward coins. (I was a little pushing with the rest of the "big accounts" when I believed that a kid deserved their follow.

Who won the money so I can go and be his/her/etc best friend and kiss his/her/etc ass all day to get the damn money (or simply stealing them?). As a classic internet user I just scanned the text and I think it was you. Believe it or not was thinking about this today 😄. Used the same system on Torum.com but I gave the shitcoins away and would have little competition like whoever finds my age would get half of my wallet. The one that would come closer would get a repost (if I liked the content). If I don't like it you still get that repost but expect some spicy commentary I would say. It's a shame we have to use stuff like this in order to create engagement and bring users back. Because it's fake engagement and forced visits.

Yesterday x.AI finally released Grok (Beta) Android app. From what I had been told by my cat and other ...cats online I would hate it. And oh boy, were they right? It would change language on its own, the images it generated not only were ugly, but reminded me the dial up era where a photo would take a couple of minutes to load. Pixel by pixel, it would complete a line and continue like that while I was thinking about ways to kill myself. My cat said she could help 🫨. Today the app got an update. And apparently it is no longer Beta 😂

Imagine your self a normal person who knows nothing about crypto, decentralized social media etc. And you saw the titles of those videos. What would you do? I guarantee you most people will not even watch a few seconds from one of the videos. You should concrete on why they should come here. The money they can earn, no big media tracking etc. You target their feelings not logic and always tell them what they have to gain. That's how marketing works (unfortunately). And don't forget to use the main keywords on Title and description. It will help the videos rank higher.

Thought going back to "decentralized" social media platforms and give it a try now that I don't use Twitter anymore. First of all there are so few of them left. And instead of earning money with your content you have to pay. Here for example you can become a Legendary profile with only $1.000 or "Primal OG" with,$7 per month. I was looking for some team members, ideally the founder to ask if this is a free speech platform. I'm sure the answer will be yes.
And then ask about the rules and if Nostr can handle the weight of my world famous humor that has banned me from half a dozen websites, apps and other decentralized thangs. And some members have 150.000 - 200.000 followers (on paper) but check their last posts and the number of Likes, Comments and reposts.
The other thing that shocked me was the fact that we have to pay to buy tips! Right... I'm sure most people will do that.
Seeing jack abandoning project BlueSky and then create this is not very ensuring? Tomorrow could get bored or fight with a mouse in the building and move on. And the number of followers? I have more on my 13th Twitter account.
