Have been carrying around dumbbells in my backpack for about 6 weeks now and am really noticing how much stronger I’m becoming. Will go up to 8kg next week and that won’t even really feel like a stretch. This will make backpacking the Hebridean Way in July so much easier.

I’m cutting out coffee for a month and I’m already struggling 6 days in. Struggling with energy, that is. My stomach is doing a lot better which is the primary reason for me cutting out coffee. I have replaced the coffee with Yerba Mate which seems to help with my energy. Oh, and I guess cutting WAY down on sugar is also not helping the sluggish feelings. I know I just have to get through this and then I feel a lot better but I am struggling.

I got three new piercings today! One in my earlobe, a tragus one and an eyebrow one. My joy about getting them was quickly marred by both my husband and youngest son saying they hated my eyebrow one. Which was the one I was most excited about.
