@npub1cpp…e7uy haiku on risc-v (and arm when that will work) uses uboot uefi. I think freebsd bootloader does as well

Apache httpd can be compiled without http support.
The help message for that option says:
"Don't disable this module unless you are really sure what you are doing"
I wonder how many bugreports they get from people who disable http and then complain that it doesn't support http

All these posts about AI giving apparently wrong answers are actually people under-specifying their questions:
- you can glue cheese to a pizza if you want (you didn't specify that the pizza should still be safe to eat)
- you can eat any type of mushrooms (for some of them, you may die, but that's after eating them)
- you can safely jump off a plane without a parachute (if the plane is not flying)
finding and fixing that kind of ambiguity is exactly what software engineers do!

@npub1upk…tcwy allour commit messags (including merge commits) include the user story ID and the merge commit message will include the story title as well. We don't have any commits with the default message

@npub1upk…tcwy you can try to not create a local main branch at all (and use origin/main directly to base your feature branches on). Since you can't commit things directly to a mirrored remote branch, that gives some protection.
However there is nothing that will warn you if you create the branch. And usually, just cloning the repo will create it for you if it's the default branch

@npub1upk…tcwy @npub1hyf…5wyk I think it is not very hard, but I have spent some time doing it. The core of it is a function that receives a "packet" object, you can read bytes and words from it, and you populate a tree where each node has a decoding of something and is attached to a range of bits in the packet.
They can be written in Lua, which makes it easy to test and debug since you can edit the script and reload it. Or in C, with a bit more recompiling.
