This is my thought process with Reticulum. Not optimal but until I understand more - this is the way. I have fleet of Edgemap units, they announce and one sending message - creates links to all others. I have no idea how this works in practice, even it looks good on my small RNode setup.

Imagine you could have out of band communication with your team members on your travels. You could exchange messages, chat freely and without sim cards or hotel Wifi. You unpouch your RPI's with Edgemap and connect to them. And you have all this. Zero software installs. If you don't know why this is great, you're not my audience. Small demo video in youtube [1]

What is Edgemap? It's not only operative capability, it's also lessons learned for development resilience in embedded designs. Not always cloud and upstream repositories are there for you. I can continue developing and deploying as long as I carry that laptop with me. No Internet required. Can you do the same with your cloud and credit card numbers powering your work flows?

Updated my Github [1] for Edgemap. Changed repository name and pushed my latest developments. There is new versions of various components and system runs now on Linux kernel 6.11.4, which enables SecurePTT development again. Most notably there is reticulum link based communication now on board. And remember, this is free & open source!

It's a long road. Been developing and updating like constant cycle, but finally it seems to stable down and I am about to push latest to my Github[1]. Edgemap has now several updated software components (kernel, ui, reticulum etc). Making it more future proof and current to your integrations. Stay tuned for push and keep world at your fingertips. This is open source and free!
