Can someone explain to me how bitcoin scales with the same great features it has at the base layer with extremely high fees, specifically in developing countries. Just had that asked to me and didn’t have a good answer. Seems like only the rich will be able to use it

Why would someone pay multiples above the actual price to move the transaction faster? What’s the incentive to be a few minutes quicker instead of waiting for the next block

Sometimes I feel crazy with how invested I am into the bitcoin ethos. Trying to convince others or imagine a hyperbitcoinized world makes my brain hurt with intense hope, belief and questions. I’ve spent thousands of hours learning about btc and it doesn’t disappear. I try to question myself to make sure I’m not being captured by just another ideology. But I think it’s too late. I’m dying on this hill. Does anyone else feel this way?
