Since I'm not very good with colours, the Shade/Base/Highlight combinations from vallejo looks good [1].
I'm especially looking at getting a few skin colours triads.
I dont really want to base my full opinion on this bases on one youtuber recommendation tho.
What's your take on that ?

I might do some streams on putting together minis this summer.

I think what @npub1nxu…4hun said is what ever makes you and baby sleep is the right solution.
Worth trying also doing the food at regular interval with no snack in between, so they eat loads, and fall asleep of digestion (see 12 hours sleep at 12 weeks old book). I think it only works as a regular thing tho, schedules only work after a while.
I know all the books, and all the advice is just words. Being there with the kiddo is something, so here is a hug for you

The let down is not the extra Stormcast, its probably the extra expensive paint really (and paying port on that).
I guess you do get a big monster with the sub, so thats cool too

@npub1z00…j4g9 I think it is nice to grab some cheap models that I would not otherwise not get, I didn't go for the subscription.
Some underworld warband that go for huge amount online are nice to see in there too (looking forward to grab Mollog's mob eventually)
I think the scenery are also a good deal, but I didn't manage to grab a single one 😔

@npub1um7…2mt3 it was a lot of saving to get to even half a box for me, so the book survived a few culling on my side as well, but it never left my parents home.
I don't know if I'd buy the bits again, but I think I prefer the light cardboard to full plastic scenery too.
It is lighter, more vivid and the windows/corner plastic bits are just good enough to give building strength.
I feel like if I think too much about it, I'd be on ebay before long.

@npub1nxu…4hun @npub1pcj…vrhw it is kind of free to incorporate for the vat scheme.
You can pay 10£ and be get it done automatically.
That said, you need an accountant once you are incorporated, and I'd say it is easilly £1,000 per year.
If you don't break 50k to 80k revenue a year, you better loose few tousands pounds in revenue rathen than incorporate than loose that in profit.

I am lacking bits to kitbash my next set of rats, and I am under strict supervision about bringing more plastic home, but I wanted to scratch that itch.
So I look at that sad lookiny stormbringer issue in the draw and freed some kruleboyz from their sprue.
I even took the super glue out, but maybe that was a bit optimistic

@npub1um7…2mt3 the repetitive nature of a big unit done the same way has a similar effect on me, maybe it is because then I don't set my expectation too high.
Those are super reable, which I think sometime can be hard with the rank and file.
Maybe I'm just biased because I'm partial to purple colour schemes.
I've tried the book stuff, I think I am doing it wrong. I'll try the exposure setting though, see if I can replicate it 🤔

Step 1: go in the forest
Step 2: dry in the oven
Step 3: apply varnish
Step 4: liberal application of purple, pink and fluo pink
Step 5: use on miniature that entered some really, really unsettling place.
It is going to go well with some big dinos I hope
(for the smaller base, I'm using ready made tufts)
