When building an iOS app with UIKit or SwiftUI, I'd never use storyboards or NIB files. It seems quite difficult to programmatically create and display a window in AppKit with the default menu bar. Do AppKit developers normally use storyboards?

It was a fun challenge getting a UITextView to show a centered multi-line placeholder with the caret being placed at the beginning of the placeholder when the text view is empty 😄

This is great! I very much like what [@BenRiceM](https://mastodon.social/@BenRiceM) posted too, but changing the icons in the page indicator seems to be more of a low-hanging fruit that makes the UI much more understandable until you’re ready to do the UI overhaul.

Have you considered replacing the dots in the page indicator in the bottom with icons of the different consoles? I think that would make it clearer that each page holds games for a specific console.

Thanks for all the links! A couple of hours ago, I stumbled upon one of your pages that Google indexed two days ago and that now 404s, so I’m guessing the upcoming super budget choice is the Turin Legato 😀

Current status on my quest to buy an espresso machine is that I talked to my local espresso machine pusher, who convinced me not to splurge on a fully automatic machine and ended up giving me even more doubts as to what to buy 😄

I’m curious to hear if you've got an opinion about the Jura Z10 and if it will make as good an americano or caffe latte as a Sage machine, assuming the Sage's grinder is used.
Ultimately, I'm trying to get a good but not necessarily completely perfect espresso at a high convenience and without producing a mess. I'm sure I could get absorbed into brewing espresso, but I don't need a new hobby right now 😄

I’m eyeing a Sage/Breville with a built-in grinder. If I don’t go that route, I’ll probably just get a Philips HD7900 to replace my Philips HD7767.
