I am increasingly interested in one bag travel. Being relatively recently disabled, I have been relying on wheelie bags but find them cumbersome, and I feel like they ultimately increase the effort I have to put in. A well-supported backpack strapped tightly to my torso, and put down when feasible, would be easier to maneuver with.
That said, I must also carry my CPAP. Do you do one bag travel with a CPAP? Tell me your experiences! #onebag

I am skeptical of Cara, because I see a lot of people moving to it and posting that pointless, do-nothing story on Instagram about not consenting to their data being used to train models. I also am skeptical of all non-federated platforms, since anything can be enshittified.
That said, it sounds like Zhang is avoiding VC funding, which is the fastest way to enshittify these days. Anyone have thoughts?

Film friends... I have a #Polaroid question. My 680, serviced a few years ago by Brooklyn Film Camera, has done something odd with the last two packs. The flash won't charge, and when I hit the shutter button it flips the mirror up but that's it.
I thought the first pack was just old, but the second pack was fresh new monochrome stock from Polaroid.
I need to send it in for service, don't I? If you have any ideas for what's wrong, let me know.

I saw that video going around with a person controlling a 3D modeler and printer with a custom GPT model. I finally found a use case for an LLM in my life: controlling photo editing software.
I'd like to figure out how to do this with a FLOSS stack. I am not sure I can find a fully FLOSS LLM, but I'm sure darktable, Rawtherapee, or similar can help me out with the editing side.
The hard part, I think, will be connecting the LLM to the editor's inputs.
