m.values().filter(|p| **p == v).count()
This feels…wrong.
values() returns an iterator of references. Why does filter() reference each reference? Is the ** conventional is this kind of situation, or is there a better way to do this?

@npub1eqg…fncn Doesn’t mason add itself to the $PATH? If you open a terminal buffer and echo $PATH you should see the mason bin directory.

@npub1y9z…3ykm Yeah, it has similarities. The alpha system doesn’t prescribe rules or guidance beyond the top-level folders though. The idea is that anything starting with a letter is *somewhere* in that letter’s folder. And it also assumes present you thinks similarly to past you (eg, maybe you can’t a certain tax document in the T folder because you previously put it F for finances of M for money).

@npub1y9z…3ykm @npub16tg…rfyq I’ve never heard of the Johnny Decimal System, but it does sound interesting. I’ve been using the alpha system from GTD (top level folder for each letter, A–Z) for a while, but maybe it’s time to reassess. 👀
