i have to pee, so i go to bathroom. i still have to pee, so i go again. i still have to pee — "oh wait, i'm dreaming!"
i control my breath to keep calm and focus on sensory details to solidify the dream. it quickly becomes more vivid.
i fly up through the ceiling, into the sky, and i'm above a big city. should i get big and go all kaiju? get into a magic battle? i could teleport somewhere else, maybe another planet to hang out with silly alien animals?
fuck, i forgot that i really need to pee irl. it feels really urgent. i wake myself up.

• nobody ever knows what day it is so let's just stop pretending
• buses don't run on "time", they show up when you light a cigarette
• deadlines were invented by capitalists
• global south forced to winter during summer
• time is an illusion and calendar isn't real - we made it up!
