If you don’t have a gaming PC / any PC, but you want to get into PC gaming, the Steam Deck is such a fantastic device. It’s obviously a really good game device, but hooking it up to an external monitor etc also leaves you with a very capable (as long as you’re reasonable with what you want to do with it) computing device. I absolutely can’t recommend it enough.

I'm *very* happy with @npub1wjw…ue5t's Proton Pass offering. Given I work across iOS, iPadOS and (mainly) Windows it works a lot better than iCloud passwords. I like it so much so I was tempted to upgrade to email as well, though the jump in cost from just using one product to more is quite steep. I don't need VPN, or cloud storage, but you need to get all, or nothing it seems.

I wonder if any CSS experts can help me with something ... is there a way for me to allow for wide images to fill the entire space, but to make taller images not look so huge? Is there anything more awkward than watching a gaming streamer when their kids walk into the background. The streamer always looks so awkward and brushes them away so because ‘dad’s working’. Stop your bloody stream and talk to your kids no one watching is going to care, just do it off camera (for privacy). Why do they act like they’re live on CNN going out to the world or something?

The account stuff with @npub1wjw…ue5t is a bit weird to me. I paid for Pass Plus at €1 a month and was impressed so I ‘upgraded’ or at least thought I didn’t, to Mail Plus also, but by doing so it downgraded my Pass Plus account back to a free version so I’ve lost out on the Pass full user experience now. Can I not have Plus for both Mail and Pass without paying for the other stuff I’d not use?

The switch from Twitter to Mastodon was so quick, and smooth, especially thanks to apps like @npub1svs…p66u and @npub1rky…0xq2 I don’t think I really took the time to appreciate how great it is. Mastodon feels like such a great place to hang out at the moment. @npub1ewx…y3dm runs a really great mastodon instance so my local timeline is fantastic, but I’ve found so many interesting people to follow since moving over here also. It’s easy to just think of it as a new Twitter but it feels like so much more.

@npub1pqk…z65u well that’s too bad for those that don’t read into what they’re getting into I guess. What can they do, just ‘develop it faster’? Development takes time, and I assume they want to do it correctly or there would be an even bigger issue. It’s already a decentralised platform with Bluesky being an access point to it, but expanding it takes time. Throwing your toys out of the pram won’t make it quicker.
