So, Latest misadventure in my attempts to install a Linux distro other than Debian. I've used Debian for years and like it a lot, but I've wanted to give something else a try. Sadly, almost everything else has weird #a11y issues. Latest example, Installing Fedora. I get to the city search screen. I type "det", it fills in Detroit. But now what? If I tab, I only see the Previous button. Space deletes my selection and enter does nothing. So far as I can tell, I'm stuck. What am I missing? Thanks!

I just asked my Google Home to start a stopwatch. The response: "Sorry, I can't set stopwaqtches anymore on this device.". My question: "Why the heck not?" I mean, the Google home used to be able to set stopwatches. It's a feature that wasn't costing Google anything and it's not like it needed to be maintained. Why on earth would they remove such an obvious and useful feature?

Does anyone know a keyboard only, screenn reader friendly way to copy the value of a session cookie using any Windows based browser? I've tried doing this in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. I can get to the list of cookies and can find the value. I can even press the applications key and select edit value. But I can't seem to select and copy the key. Control+a and then control+c does nothing, arros read nothing. #a11y

What fresh hell is this? it seems as a screen reader user, I am now barred from accessing Amazon on a new browser. It's prompting me to fill a visual CAPTCHA with no accessible alternatives on offer. Come on Amazon! Of all companies you should know better. This is a shameful disgrace! Do Better !!! #amazon #a11y

@npub1gaj…78dz If you haven't tried it, you might try asking Chat GPT. If you summarize what you're going to talk about and ask it to suggest some titles, it will likely do a surprisingly good job.

Looking for a replacement battery for an old Lenovo Thinkpad T460. All the ones I'm seeing on Amazon and eBay are weird off brands I've never heard of. i'm not averse to going with a weird off brand, if I can find someone who has had a good experience with that particular brand. Does anyone have recommendations for a brand, or failing that, know of a place where I can get an actual Lenovo one relatively cheap? Thanks!

hi @npub1rv5…z2l6. Thanks for the update, but one thing it lacks is any clarification as to what impact this will have on users. Will we be unable to access any services requiring passwords from our vault during this time window? A bit more specificity would be great. Thanks.

So I just downloaded @npub1svs…p66u for iOS and really loving it so far. Works great with Voiceover. One thing I seem to be mising though, how do I enable push notifications? I found a section for it in settings, but I don't believe the app has ever prompted me to allow notifications.
