- `var Promise = global.Promise;` is this still needed? i think `Promise` is already available in the global scope by itself 🤔
- why do `var EventEmitter = require('node:events').EventEmitter;` instead of `var { EventEmitter } = require('node:events');`? (why we are using `var` is another question entirely...)
- i would think you can use node's `path.posix` methods instead of relying on the `slash` package? see https://nodejs.org/api/path.html#windows-vs-posix.

@nprofile…4tpe i also think we could decouple that from eleventy since it bears little relation- i do think that relation to eleventy should matter in terms of namespacing.

@nprofile…4tpe i would say no actually, same with something like webc (for is-land in particular you have the luck of `is-land` seemingly still being available as a non-scoped package name! could use that and move it under your personal account)

@npub195v…pp38 @npub1z9m…rz2z Interesting! I've started writing my plugins in TypeScript and compiling them to CJS and ESM, so I'm a step ahead of the game - before ESM support was even released! I use unbuild for this, see https://github.com/uncenter/eleventy-plugin-validate.

@npub1xed…yg9w I self host it for free actually, but their Umami Cloud plans are pretty great. On Railway I can get away with just using the free credits on the Hobby plan!
