Much needed relaxation today and this weekend.
❗Saw Assange was granted another hearing - which I suppose is better than straight extradition, but the fact that the death penalty could be on the table in the U.S. is absurd - the whole thing is for exposing war crimes, but that's another conversation.
I'm just glad to see some justice out there, however temporary or mostly symbolic it might be.
I see #zapathon trending around - I hope to be more active since I haven't been here very long and wasn't here when those initially popped off - don't fully get it yet lol but it looks like fun with everyone 💜⚡

- HAPPY CATURDAY WEEKEND 😸
⚒️ Remember all those things that kept piling up? Well it all finally got to be too much lol so I've just been playing catchup with work/life over the last week or so.
⏳ Decided to also use this time to digitally detox from all socials and hope that would help me focus more, somewhat - I also didn't realize how much goes in to converting to a new phone OS; I'm relearning everything that closed gardens made me forget were possible. I absolutely love GrapheneOS/Android/ASOP - gives me hope in seeing the FOSS community thrive like it has been here.
Graphene OS has not only become an essential daily driver, but it's also been an extremely powerful electronic Swiss army knife. I've diagnosed and resolved network issues far faster with some of the tools available on this thing. Crazy what an open yet secure system allows you to do.
There's still so much I'm learning and still a lot to do - I have so many questions that I'll need to look through them and #asknostr it later 😅 like is there a recommended SMS app besides QKSMS, Fossify SMS, and the default graphene messenger?
💜 ⚡ Apologies for our sabbatical, but we missed everyone here; there is no other place online we really social. Sincerely hope everyone is doing well and better than a week or so ago - we hope to be back on in a somewhat routine manner again soon, but more work needs to be done 🫂

Nothing exciting planned for today, just the usual backlog of procrastination that keeps growing 😅 I have a lot of personal projects piling up on top of the usual life priority stuff and no idea how to tackle any of it yet so it's all just sitting there, waiting lol.
It's also really hard to get anything done on days off with company like this; There's even a morning routine as I make my coffee where I'm not left alone till there's a lap available and scritches are given - it's a good reminder to slow down sometimes, just enjoy the moment you're in.
💜⚡ The simple things in life that are the best - you just have to keep your mind open and your heart receptive 🫂

The furry little ones are off napping so it’s just me and the view this morning 😸
Gloomy day out - rained some through the night but it’s perfect napping weather. Hate having things to do.
Got a couple of #bitcoin miners in yesterday to play around with for fun - this ecosystem excites me. I really wish I found it sooner because it’s a blast exploring the tech on my own, and helps knowing there’s an incredible place with many helpful and knowledgeable folks to assist if needed.
Now with the miners in I STILL need to properly setup my Umbrel and Start9 instances. So much to learn and do still.

Still need to make some configurations and setup, but it’s smooth and stable now that I have it going properly.
Switching the Umbrel node on an RPi4 to the same mini PC model Start9 is running is next -

What’s everyone’s favorite client? I’ve been favoring Snort Social web app, Damus, and Nostur -
I like Nosturs layout and functionality, but don’t like the fact I can’t take a picture for a post, along with some other minor weird UI/UX choices.
Damus is nice and streamlined, very easy to understand, but no bells and whistles like Nostur and Snort web app for configuring more complex things. Can at least take a picture for a post, unlike Snort and Nostur.
Only thing about snort I don’t like is the default reaction that I can’t find a way to change like on Nostur, but that’s minor gripe.
Any recommended clients I’m missing? Lmk! I’ve tried NoStrudel, Flycat, and Satellite - but didn’t favor those for general use.
