@npub1nn8…8sed Did a double take because I recognized the word "aposematism". I saw a video today in which weaver ants stayed away from a bright-colored caterpillar, for this very reason. What are the odds I'd see that word twice in one day?

@npub1c35…9pmh I've gone back and forth, and I'm not 100% consistent even now. I know why I prefer two spaces. I forget why for a while I went back to one space. (I'm still a one-spacer on Twitter, out of habit from the 128-character days.). Both have cases where they feel awkward to me. I have a bias, but in general I think it's kind of dumb when people on either side get sanctimonious over their spacing preference. Same when it comes to the Oxford comma.

#[0] So many of the titles in my YouTube recs are about how Person A HUMILIATED or DESTROYED Person B, or how Person C is TERRIFIED of some hammer that's about to fall any day now. Very few reports of actual progress. It's all frankly a bunch of pathetic wet dreams about how miserable we imagine the shitheads were made to feel.
