@npub1rsl…lqqt I unfortunately don't have much experience with Linux printers. I have an HP but most brands are probably fine as long as you don't need specialized apps. (I bought it before the ink cartridge DRM controversy; I likely wouldn't have bought an HP printer if I was buying today) The core functionality of printing on Linux thanks to CUPS is actually better than on Windows because you don't need external drivers; it's either supported or it's not.

It's a shame Mozilla has become completely incapable of delivering a web browser. Heck, they almost let Thunderbird rot to nothing. Firefox will be next.
For those who wanted a viable alternative to Chromium, I'm sorry, but I don't think that exists anymore outside of Safari, which unfortunately only exists on Apple products.
The best we can hope for is Chromium ownership being ripped away from Google/Alphabet.

I mean, when it literally has an unsupported rating on Steam and for both Nvidia and AMD users it's been hit or miss on Arch:
I do think it has to do with the game being so poorly patched and launched in such a broken state, even for a 2020s game; this is what you get.
Have you noticed any other games with this behavior where XOrg is playable but not Wayland via XWayland?

@npub1wst…ez75 You mean as if I needed a reason to wait on playing City Skylines 2. Seriously, even on Windows, the game was released in a bad state with CPU bottlenecks galore. On Linux, It has NOTHING to do with XOrg UNLESS you're on an Nvidia GPU. AMD & Intel don't seem to have a serious performance penalty in most games.
For once, I can say the game shouldn't have been released when it was without any buts.

I knew some people who later left the cult because of their LGBTQ stance (one of them later came out as a lesbian and found a partner who SHE wanted.
Religion should make people better people, not worse and certainly not be forced on anybody who is unwilling to follow it.

Hey @npub1gv8…uu0q is Vivaldi going to keep supporting Manifest v2 after Chrome (eventually) kills it? I know Brave is, but I do want to stay on Vivaldi if possible.
And also, can you guys make a flatpak for Vivaldi on Flathub (or can you guys allow it given Vivaldi isn't exactly 100% FOSS); I really want to run it on my Steam Deck in desktop mode, but given there's no Vivaldi flatpak, I can't. I really want to see that changed!

Hey Nick at @npub188q…3jlx you need to check out @npub1dn8…3map it's a great intermediate distro that gives an easier install and maintainence experience to an otherwise vanilla Arch experience. I've personally used it since 2021 and have only had one problem with it, and that was the GRUB issue that EndeavourOS actually responded to BEFORE Arch themselves! And the community is great! Not to mention Nvidia support is out of the box.
Seriously, you need to make a video about them. They're awesome!
