I'm moving back to where I grew up and where what's left of my old friends live. I found a great modern apartment in Elmhurst Illinois. They come with a dishwasher, microwave, balconies, elevators, in unit washer and dryer, fully equipped exercise facility. The 1 bedroom unit is as big as the house we currently live in. I won't even need a vehicle. It's a beautiful town with lots of places to eat within walking distance and a grocery store across the street. ☮️❤️🙂

Raiders 63 to 21, and we in Chicago only got the Ravens and Rams game on TV. I saw some highlights, and that game looked fun. It doesn't matter what draft picks Chicago gets. If they get the #1 pick, they would trade it for a few guys who will never make it. There is no good news for Pat. She might hear something on Sunday. I don't know how many more times they can put her off, but fingers crossed. I hope everything is going well at your end. ☮️❤️🙂

On the flip side, I hope you guys are doing fine and not letting work get to you. Paula is the cutest little sausage in her Christmas outfits🎄. It's supposed to warm up today and tomorrow, then rain over the weekend, but so far, it hasn't been too cold. I'll check back. Have a nice evening☮️❤️🙂🎄

Happy new week, Paula, Mum, and Daddy.
Pat went into the hospital last Wednesday and Thursday had a procedure call a Swan Catheter which is a test before her operation that should take place this week. Since her numbers showed improvement, she was placed on the back of the list on people needing the operation first. They might send her home temporarily. Cupcake definitely misses her mom. This will be a test that I will have to pass. My main concern at home is some visitor opening the front door and Cupcake getting out. Pat, my other sister and I, luckily prefer no visitors. I told her that I'd send plenty of pictures of Cupcake. After her operation, she will be in the hospital for 5 or 6 weeks. First week is testing, then the operation and at least 2 weeks intensive care. Then another 2 weeks of observation and getting back on her feet. She's in good care.☮️❤️🙂

Happy Sunday, Paula, Mum, and Daddy. It sounds like this next month is going to be a sress month for all of us. My main goal is to not have Cupcake get out of the house and run away looking for her Mom. There will be a number of people coming by from Rick's family to check on him that do and then think, so I'll have to keep the doors locked so they can't walk in leaving the door wide open. I'm going to be putting up with a lot of ridiculous crap. This will be a real test. ☮️❤️🙂

Happy Weekend, Paula, Mum, and Daddy. It's been nuts around here preparing for Pat's departure for at least the next 6 weeks. She's totally bummed out. We did have a good Thanksgiving, and that took her mind off the future.
Raiders and Chiefs tomorrow. That should be interesting. I think the Raiders stand a chance of winning. You have FC Bayern and Kane, who is like what M.J. was to the Bulls. Chicago is a big zero in sports. Have a nice evening ☮️❤️🙂

It looks like this is the Lions year. Friday was my last day of therapy, so now I have to start going for long walks, which will keep me in good shape until I find a health club close to home. Congratulations, Paula. Sorry I've been missing. My sister has become close to critical, so I'm taking on most of the responsibilities of the harder part of the house, and she's very depressed over her operation the Wednesday after Thanksgiving next Thursday. She will be in the hospital for at least 6 weeks. It's going to be a complete life changer for her with lots of pain for a few weeks. I go for my last therapy session today, so I'll tell you more tomorrow.☮️❤️💙

Happy Monday, Paula, Mum, and Mr. Daddy.
Exciting day for me. Take a long walk, then go to the hospital for a ct scan of my lungs, then back home for another long walk. This is the 3rd Monday in a row I've had to miss therapy. I see Harry Kane is kicking up a storm for Bayern. He's looks really great. Bears play the only team worse than them Thursday night. It looks like they might get the top draft pick that they will trade for a loser as usual. No hope for Chicago. 😭

Happy Saturday, Paula, Mum,and Daddy. Sorry about your weather. It sounds like our weather last week. Today will be about 15⁰ warmer and sunny. It's sunny for a while, at least. Bandit is visiting for the weekend, so this is a nut house. My sister has decided to go through with her heart surgery after Thanksgiving. She will be in the hospital for at least 6 weeks. It's a lucky thing my therapy is really going well. I'm in better shape than 10yrs ago. Go FC Bayern. ☮️❤️🙂

Employee of the Day is a perfect way to start the new week. Happy Monday Paula, Mum, and
Mr. Daddy. The rain has gone and the sun has returned here. Back to work around the house and yard while my sisters and the 92 yr old uncle go gambling. It won't be long and they can go
to the casino being built 1/2 km away. I'm glad I don't gamble. I hear Cupcake getting reprimanded which means she is probably out front digging. She is a toad hunter. She doesn't hurt them just looks ☮️❤️😊

Happy weekend, Mum, Daddy, and Paula. I hope your day went well. I've been running around getting necessities for a rainy weekend. I'm doing fine, but not much improvement, if any. It was mostly to see if there was anything bad like cancer and everything was fine. The next step is pulmonary rehab, which will be working out, and I'm looking forward to that. I can tell my lungs feel cleaner, and that might become a routine procedure if my insurance will pay the price.

I made it, and I'm fine. My throat is very raw, but that's to be expected. I'll be here for another hour or so. I can't wait to eat. The doctor said everything looks good. This hospital and its staff are all really great. The next repair will be cataracts. I hope that will be soon. Thanks for your concern, and I'll keep you updated. ❤️❤️❤️
