Four weeks until FediForum starts September 12!
We'll open at 8am in the morning pacific time. That is 11am east coast time, 16:00 in the UK and 17:00 in central Europe, and we will close each day by 1pm/4pm/21:00/22:00.
That half-day schedule has worked out well to bring the #Fediverse community together across the Americas and Europe. We've had a bit of participation from Africa, too. As well as some brave souls from Asia-Pacific.
But this time, we do 3 half-days!

For the next FediForum, we will try something new:
A three-day schedule that includes Saturday.
We've heard from many people that they'd really like to come, but can't during the work week. Others want to keep weekends for family time. Both very understandable.
Also, many people told us they want more time because there is so much to discuss as we build out the Fediverse together.
So Thursday, Friday and Saturday it is on September 12-14! We are very much looking forward to it!!

FediForum has made it into a bunch of publications this week. Most focus on the demo at FediForum where Meta's @npub1hf5…wz3g showed off Threads' #Fediverse integration publicly for the first time, but there's lots of good stuff talking about FediForum itself, too.

We'd like your help with something.
We would like to hear more from traditionally underrepresented and marginalized Fedizens at the next #FediForum.
We asked FediForum participants, and they most mention LGBTQIA+ and black communities, people with disabilities, as well as voices from outside the usual rich western countries whose residents tend to dominate tech-related events.
Can you help us reach out further than we can on our own? We'd appreciate introductions.
